The Stork Club is a bar and lounge that opened in August 2023 and spans the rooftop of the impressive Hudson House, overlooking the iconic NYC skyline. It’s a new take on the famed Manhattan Stork Club that ran from 1929 to 1965 and was known for well-made cocktails that flowed day and night. In a nutshell it is sophisticated ambiance, luxury, style, and great beverages. With a rooftop firepit, 360-degree bar, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and a hanger-style door that opens to the outdoor deck, you won’t want to miss this great rooftop bar.

The Iron Monkey on Exchange Place has been around since 1995 and is popular for its craft beers, lively atmosphere, and rooftop bar with scenic views. The bar offers a diverse menu of beers, including a variety of craft and international options. The restaurant has 4 floors with 3 bars and is often praised for its relaxed vibe, making it one of my favorite local spots.

The 902 Brewing Co is a brewery known for producing a variety of craft beers and is a popular spot for beer enthusiasts in the area. They have a taproom where visitors can sample a selection of their beers, learn about the brewing process, and enjoy a social atmosphere. Located above the brewery is their rooftop bar which features breathtaking views of Manhattan and regularly hosts live music and events including rooftop acoustic, local DJs, and even comedians. With plenty of space and a spectacular view, this is a great way to enjoy the warmer months in New Jersey.

One of my all-time favorite places in Jersey City is Skinner’s Loft, which is known for its cozy and inviting atmosphere, featuring a mix of modern and rustic elements. The restaurant has a diverse menu, which includes a variety of American cuisine, creative dishes, and craft cocktails.

Skinner’s Loft is housed in a historic building and offers a warm ambiance, making it a great choice for both casual dining and special occasions. They have a rooftop space that adds to the charm, providing patrons with scenic views of the surrounding area.
